lyrics
You wake me up to see me suffer
The air in my lungs
Just enough to keep me from gasping
Kiss me goodnight
Just to watch me die
The room is cold
The light is dim
Shadows are dancing
I'll wait here for something
It just won’t happen
I can't move, don't understand
can't comprehend, what is planned
I won't join the party
You hold my hand to drag me down
You made my bed so I can drown, slowly
The ground is dissolving under my feet
I'm floating
Where am I going
It is time to go now
Carry my body through the swamp
It is time to leave now
Carry my soul over the hills
It's time to go now
I don’t want to know
Existential dread high cathedral screamo. Staring into the mirror to see they eyes of the world staring back at you, surrounded by fire. Are we beast or victim, or one and the same? Luke
I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again. jornfin
thanks Fluisteraars! I just love your music. A very good atmosphérique black metal band with experimental/ ambient passage. This album is literally one of my classics in my black metal journey.
The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time. Continue in that way ! quentin_milcent
