I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again.

The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time. Continue in that way !
