lyrics
Feeling messed up and out of touch
With the world and everything else
I’m the one who wakes you up
You’re the one who brings me down
Lost inside your little world
The things you say are out of hand
I guess you should’ve let her go
Now the icicles cast away
And I’m dying every time you call
Lost inside four walls and a roof
Your pretty eyes don’t bother me
It’s too late for sympathy
There is beauty in debris
Comfort in misery
Everything is as it should be
Everything is as it should be
Everything is as it should be
Beauty in debris
Comfort in misery
The things you say are out of hand
I guess you should’ve let her go
Now the icicles cast away
And I’m dying every time you call
Lost inside four walls and a roof
Existential dread high cathedral screamo. Staring into the mirror to see they eyes of the world staring back at you, surrounded by fire. Are we beast or victim, or one and the same? Luke
I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again. jornfin
thanks Fluisteraars! I just love your music. A very good atmosphérique black metal band with experimental/ ambient passage. This album is literally one of my classics in my black metal journey.
The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time. Continue in that way ! quentin_milcent
