lyrics
I found something
In a fast melodic
punk rock song transition
It saved my youth
It changed me
I'm different man
I’m not a bitter man
I could have been a dead man
There's something between the chords
A feeling that can't be written
There's something between the chords
That saved my life
And how needed that feeling
When I was staring at a grey ceiling
In a room, living in isolation
All the frustration
Staring through a small window
looking at the less insane
But who’s insane?
Hate is filling my lungs
My eyes feel like smoking guns
Where did I lose track
Or was it the tracks?
I think it was a combination
It’s always a combination
There was an old stereo
Sound waves found their way
But the record was skipping
They dropped them so now and then
The only thing they should do right
Everything was skipping
I spend my days in solitude
Far away from home
And all my family and friends
Or what was left of them
A broken stereo was my lifeline
The only thing that filled the room
Day in, day out
Listening to the songs
Feeling the transition
In my life
In this room
In this town
I found truth
It’s the only truth I know
It's the only truth I need
It’s the only truth I want
The only truth I love
Except for death
I found sorrow
Existential dread high cathedral screamo. Staring into the mirror to see they eyes of the world staring back at you, surrounded by fire. Are we beast or victim, or one and the same? Luke
I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again. jornfin
thanks Fluisteraars! I just love your music. A very good atmosphérique black metal band with experimental/ ambient passage. This album is literally one of my classics in my black metal journey.
The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time. Continue in that way ! quentin_milcent
