lyrics
Can I come guaranteed?
The world at her feet
Do you see what you read?
She’s looking at me with forlorn eyes
You’re in a picture, everyone’s picture
We’re in a picture, a sad, sad picture
You’re in a picture, you’re in a picture
Dissolve into a night sky
All that glitter is not gold
You deceive yourself so much
Don’t just take things as they come
Dissolve into a night sky
There is no reason for stars to shine bright
Or to be steeped in self-doubt
Here’s one for Stu Pederson’s crown
Wake up at the dawn of day
There are ways to get lost
Gaze upwards not down
We’re lifeless and adrift
You’re in a picture, everyone’s picture
We’re in a picture, a sad, sad picture
You’re in a picture, you’re in a picture
Dissolve into a night sky
All that glitter is not gold
You deceive yourself so much
Don’t just take things as they come
Dissolve into a night sky
There is no reason for stars to shine bright
Or to be steeped in self-doubt
Here’s one for Stu Pederson’s crown
You’re in a picture
You’re in a picture, everyone’s picture
We’re in a picture, a sad, sad picture
You’re in a picture, you’re in a picture
Dissolve into a night sky
All that glitter is not gold
You deceive yourself so much
Don’t just take things as they come
Dissolve into a night sky

Existential dread high cathedral screamo. Staring into the mirror to see they eyes of the world staring back at you, surrounded by fire. Are we beast or victim, or one and the same? Luke

I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again. jornfin

thanks Fluisteraars! I just love your music. A very good atmosphérique black metal band with experimental/ ambient passage. This album is literally one of my classics in my black metal journey.
The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time. Continue in that way ! quentin_milcent
